Walk, Paddle & Roll: Easy, fast, painless fundraising online

You already care about keeping Great Lakes waters-all our lakes, rivers, wetlands, and drinking water-clean and healthy. Joining Freshwater Future's Walk, Paddle & Roll campaign lets you multiply your impact. You get to have fun outdoors, introduce people to Freshwater Future and your local watershed group, and raise a surprising amount of money to protect precious water resources.

The best part is that you don't have to monkey with doorbells, clipboards, stamps, envelopes, HTML, or event logistics. That's because Freshwater Future has partnered with FirstGiving to use its fundraising software.

If you know how to send email, click on links, or post to Facebook, then you'll have no problem following the easy steps for setting up your personal Walk, Paddle & Roll fundraising page and sharing it with your friends. We at Freshwater Future will keep track of everyone who donates through your webpage, and we'll send all your donors a customized thank you letter for tax purposes.

This Quickstart Guide will lead you through the basic steps, from registering with Freshwater Future and choosing an activity to setting up your webpage on FirstGiving and emailing friends. The Quickstart Guide also explains how to raise even more money by getting media coverage and sponsors.
